Just bored
Ok, so life in Tulsa has been really good to me lately. Nothing really in particular to report...just enjoying life right now. Been working the 11am-8pm shift now and will be for the next few months at least. It really amazes me how many people call customer service and stay on the phone with us for over an hour! Seriously, everytime I call customer service, the last thing I want to do is be on the phone for an hour or more with someone I don't even know. But I have been lucky and have had some pretty good people call me. I can deal with an irate customer all day, but what I can't deal with is feeling incompetent because I don't know all the information yet. I know it will all come with time, but those of you who know me, know that I want my information NOW and don't want to wait to learn it. So, I'll let you know in a few more weeks how the job is going.
But everyone I work with has been amazing. They took us away from one boss when training was over and gave us a new one and she has turned out to be really cool. She fits in well with our group. It's amazing how you can have 16 people, all of them completely different than each other, have many different personalities and ages, and we all just bond so easily. We're the first class that hasn't had any drama and no one hates each other. So that just tells you the type of people I work with. I'm glad I got this job...but again, ask me again in a few weeks when I know everything more about what exactly I am doing when a customer calls me!!! :)
Aside from work, not much else is really happening. The weather is starting to cool down, and you know me...I am always cold the way it is...but at least I don't have to put up with the Iowa winter this year. Watch by Feb I'll be praying for snow because I will miss it so much! Otherwise, life is good. Been hanging out more with people from work. The bar scene in Tulsa is quite diverse, so I've some interesting experiences with some bars. This last weekend we went to one and some of the guys were actually wearing sweaters draped over their shoulders...needless to say I didn't really fit into that bar...but it was entertaining to watch :) I miss my dive bars!!!
Anyways, I hope everyone is doing well. I know I suck at keeping this updated regularly, but honestly, I work, hang out, and come home and sleep. Nothing really too exciting. But when something exciting does happen...I promise you all will be the first to know...Love you all!!!

Well, Mamaw and I just checked your blog - sounds like things are going well in Tulsa and with the job. Luther and I have been visiting this week. Going home tomorrow. Craig, Isa and Bella are in the process of moving to Richmond, VA. We will meet them up there next week to help unpack. Posey said that Heather is doing well. We talked to your Mom the other day and she said she is looking forward to getting another shot in her back. Tell everyone we said Hello,
Mamaw and Debbie
Hey, good to talk to the red-headed
virgin yesterday. Sounds like you had a good Thanksgiving, but we missed you. Don't forget to send your Christmas list. Love you, Mom.
